Community Garden Officially Declared “People Garden”

On September 30, 2010, the Flagler County Department of Juvenile Justice’s Community Garden was officially declared a “People’s Garden” by George Johnson,

District Conservationist, on behalf of the United States Department of Agricultural.  One of two gardens, in the entire state of Florida, achieving such national recognition. An unbelievable accomplishment for a garden that has only been in existence for one year.
