Dear Parents of Students with an Individual Education Plan (IEP) in Exceptional Student Education (ESE), non-gifted, in the Flagler County Public School District:

The Exceptional Student Education Department of the Flagler County Public School District
would like to introduce you and your family to the “Family Café.”

The Family Café exists to provide individuals with disabilities and their families with an opportunity for collaboration, advocacy, friendship and empowerment by serving as a facilitator of communication, a space for dialogue and a source of information.

The 14th Annual Family Café will be held at the Hilton Orlando, 6001 Destination Parkway, Orlando, Florida on June 15-17, 2012. They are planning a great event, with an abundance of information and resources for you and your family.

The Exceptional Student Education Department of the Flagler County Public School District is offering to assist with one of the expenses in attending the event. The ESE Department is donating one “free room” for the three night stay at the Hilton Orlando for a family of 4 (max.) who is registered to attend the Family Café Event ($327.00 total value). Other expenses (meals, mileage, etc.) for the event will be the full responsibility of the winning family.

One name will be picked in a random drawing on Friday, April 27, 2012 at 12:00 noon in the ESE Department of the Government Services Building, 1769 E. Moody Blvd, Bunnell. If you would like to be a participant in the free drawing, please fill out a ticket by Thursday, April 26th prior to 4:00 p.m. Tickets must be filled out in person, and they will be available in the ESE Department of the Government Services Building. Restrictions: One ticket per family only, please present a photo ID, and your child must currently be receiving Exceptional Student Education Services (non-gifted) within the Flagler County Public School District. Ticket holders need not be present at the time of the drawing in order to be selected.
