Flagler Community,

Just when you think life could not get better, someone in our community does something special and life does get better!  The Flagler Playhouse has agreed to help us get our Elementary Music programs funded again.  We greatly appreciate them for stepping up to the plate to help us with this to enable our students to have music in their lives.

A special production of Born Yesterday, starring Annie Gaybis, will be performed at the Flagler Playhouse, the proceeds of which are intended to re-instate the Flagler County Elementary After-School Choral Programs.

Annie Gaybis, an accomplished professional film and theater actress-singer, has agreed to appear at The Flagler Playhouse in this Judy Holliday comedy classic to support this worthy cause. This Garson Kanin play will be presented as a staged reading in the format of an old style live radio drama. Annie is supported by Robert Dimsey, Robert Weaver and Walker Fisher, stars from the Daytona Playhouse, and Flagler County’s own Jonathan Haglund, a favorite of the Playhouse regular audiences. (Robert Dimsey is the former president of the Playhouse.) John Sbordone adapted the show from the stage play and directed it. It promises to be a wonderful production for a most worthy cause.

The show runs for only three (3) performances: Friday, September 25 and Saturday, September 26 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, September 27 at 2 p.m. The tickets are $25.00 each and $10.00 of the price is tax deductable. Of course, additional donations to the cause are always welcome.

To get your ticket, please call the Flagler Playhouse Box Office at 586-0773.

Let’s all support the play and our Elementary Music Programs!!!!!!!!
