Dear Parents,

We are receiving many questions about the Swine Flu and how our school district is going to deal with any problems that arise. First, I must emphasize that there are no confirmed cases of Swine Flu in Flagler County. We are in constant contact with both the Flagler County Health Department and the Flagler County Emergency Operations Center, while also monitoring Swine Flu activity nationally and on the state level. Additionally, the school district has increased the amount of times we clean high traffic student areas such as cafeteria tables, keyboards in computer labs, playground equipment, gym locker rooms and handrails throughout the district. We are also encouraging students to wash their hands more often and after they cough. We will also be going over parts of the attached Q & A on school-wide announcements. We will post any new information we receive on our website, www.flaglerschools.com.

Educationally Yours,

Bill Delbrugge Superintendent, Flagler County Public Schools
