Flagler County's Adult and Community Education is a school without boundaries and covering a myriad of course selections and providing opportunities to all ages. It is truly a facilitator of education, bringing knowledge to the young, interesting ideas and programs to the not so young, and hope for the future to the ones needing our services.

We offer programs in three main areas - Adult General Education, Adult Post Secondary Vocational Education, and Community Education. Looking at our class schedules, you will find program and course listings under each category.

In addition to the three main areas for which we provide classes, we also run several programs of which many of you are probably aware, since they touch so many in our community. The Make-It, Take-It Program provides computers to many organizations and individuals in the county who otherwise may not have readily available access to technology.

We are very proud to be the sponsor of the annual Flagler County Home Show/Service Fair, which brings thousands of people together with over 510 local business, organizations, and agencies. Adult and Community Education is also proud to bring to this community for the first time in 2006, the Senior Lifestyle show, which highlights many businesses and agencies geared to our senior citizens.

We serve a large population of adults with disabilities, providing a sheltered workshop, transition services for high school students, and a warm, caring adult day care program that provides services to the special populations as well as their caregivers.

And, we do not stop there! We are looking for more ways to serve this wonderful, growing county by bringing the schools and community together for one purpose--STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT!!
