We invite you to explore this section and find information about programs and services, ways you can be involved in your child’s education, volunteer opportunities and connections to outside agencies.
The African American Cultural Society
The African American Cultural Society’s vision is to serve and educate the community through the preservation and interpretation of the rich culture and history of the African American and African Diaspora (ancestry) and their contributions to our nation and mankind. Educational, historical, and personal resources are made available to teachers and students taking this course in the Flagler County High Schools.

Volunteer Program
School volunteers are people just like you -- community members, parents, grandparents, students, business people and seniors – who have discovered that spending time and sharing talents with students is an energizing and worthwhile experience.
Being a school volunteer doesn't require any special skills – you simply need to be yourself. As you share your time and skills students' lives can change. Seeing students reach their potential in the classroom and grow as individuals is a wonderful benefit of being a school volunteer. Knowing that you play a role in helping students achieve success is the satisfying part.
For more information on volunteer opportunities and district wide workshops please call the Office of Curriculum and Intstruction at 386-437-7526 Ext. 3116. 2008-2009 Volunteer Application Form
