Florida DOE is seeking input on plan for Every Student Succeeds Act

Wednesday, July 12, 2017 - 11:52am

The Florida Department of Education (FDOE) has developed the draft state plan (PDF) for the "Every Student Succeeds Act".

The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) was signed into federal law on December 10, 2015. ESSA is a reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), the nation’s national education law.

FDOE is now accepting public comment on the plan through their online survey.

Florida’s online survey for public comment is organized by the nine sections of the state plan. First you will enter your name, group represented, organization and county. You can select any or all of the sections and there is a comment box for each section. The public input window is open until July 31st.
