Friends of A1A hosted Kid’s Ocean Day for 200 fourth graders from Rymfire Elementary School. Students were transported to the River to the Sea Preserve Boardwalk East in the Town of Marineland and experienced Ocean Literacy lessons along the boardwalk, where learning stations will be positioned. During the three-hour excursion, students learned about the value of ocean habitats and other conservation activities that coincided with Florida School standards.
