Public Invited to View Community Problem Solver Projects
On Tuesday, April 16th, Community Problem Solving teams from several schools in the Flagler County School District will present their projects prior to the evening’s School Board meeting. They will be on display outside the Board chambers inside the Government Services Building in Bunnell, from 5pm to 6pm.
The public is invited to come and view the projects, as well as talk with the students about the Community Problem Solving and Future Problem Solving programs.
In all, 322 students attended the Florida Future Problem Solvers Affiliate competition in Orlando last month. They represented six campuses. Flagler Schools students won a total of 236 awards in state competition, and 72 students earned an invitation to compete at the Future Problem Solver Program International competition in June. That takes place at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
These students will be honored during Tuesday night’s School Board meeting, which begins at 6:00 pm. It will be streamed at www.flaglerschools.com/live.
