Parents are invited to “Tea with Tracy” to talk about Exceptional Student Education
within Flagler County Schools. Dr. Tracy Umpenhour, Director of Exceptional Student
Education, will share with parents and other interested attendees invaluable
information about the services provided to approximately 2000 students identified as
disabled or gifted within the Flagler County School District. A full continuum of
Exceptional Student Education programs and related services are offered to students
from preschool through high school in accordance with their individual education plan
(IEP) or EP, an educational plan for students classified as Gifted. Dr. Umpenhour is
excited to be working with parents, students, school staff and community members in
any way that she can to support the needs of all involved. With a PhD in
Psychotherapy and a Master of Education in School Psychology, in addition to her work
as a Flagler County Schools’ School Psychologist, Dr. Umpenhour has a wealth of
knowledge to share within our educational community.
