The National Honor Society has a long established record of holding its members up to standards of academic excellence, service to community, and school involvement in activities and qualities of exemplary character. The selection process is held in February for students of 10th and 11th grade standing with a 3.75+ GPA. Students applying for the program must already have a resume filled with community and school service… think of NHS membership as the reward… yes members continue to give but it is not a club to join because you want to start doing CS…

Community and Future Problem Sovers Problem Solving through community service is the core of this club. Students apply problem-solving skills to existing problems in their school, community, or state. They identify a problem situation then use the creative problem solving process to develop a plan of action and then implement this plan. Problem Solving through community service bridges the gap between school and the real world. Check out some of our different project websites: |

FPC’s Student Government Association’s mission is to “Lead, Serve, Represent.” The members of SGA do this through long hours on projects, activities, and community service. The planning of such activities is run through a Leadership Techniques Class (elective credit). Admission into the class requires students to complete an application and acceptance process in the spring of the previous year. The SGA motto is “Expect Excellence” and therefore grades, discipline records and character are a large part of that selection process. Students not in the class are encouraged to get involved by attending our activities and/ or speaking with members during lunches to share ideas and concerns.
