FREE School Year Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) Program

Registration Dates

                      Friday, June 27^th 9:00 am- 3:00 pm

Please bring the required registration documents:

(a) original birth certificate

(b) current shot record (blue card Florida Form 680)

(c) current physical record (yellow Florida Physical Form 3040)

(d) proof of Flagler County residency (copy of a lease or rental agreement, bill of sale or property deed, utility bill or homeowner’s insurance – not a driver’s license) – documents should clearly indicate parent/guardians’ name(s).

(e) Certificate of Eligibility (COE) from the Early Learning Coalition of Flagler and Volusia Counties. Available on-site or you may contact the Early Learning Coalition of Flagler and Volusia Counties (ELC) (386) 437-8236 or (386) 323-2400 or www.elcfv.org. *There will be a representative from the ELC at the Adult Education Building on Hwy 100, Mondays from 8:15 am-12:00 pm to issue COEs.

(f) Child's Social Security Card (voluntary) 

The School Year VPK program will be held August 18, 2008-June 5, 2009 from 8:30 am-11:30am, Monday-Friday according to the district school calendar. Extended day care is available from 7:00am-5:30pm for $44 per week. Breakfast and lunch is also available for a nominal fee.

*Transportation must be provided by parent/guardian. 

To participate, a child must:

         => be 4 years old as of September 1, 2008 

                  => be a resident of Flagler County 

         => have a current, valid certificate of eligibility from the early learning coalition serving Flagler County
