I was born and raised in Flagler County. I graduated from Flagler Palm Coast High School and attended UCF where I received a BS degree in Exceptional Education.  I have been teaching for 5 years and really love science. Last year I was offered the position of Science wheel and I really LOVE it. My classroom is based around nature and exploration. While in my class students experience natural Florida. They work on the nature trail and get to fish in the ponds on campus as well. I work hard to show the students my love for the outdoors and why I love it so much. Hoping to pass on the respect for nature. 

Trailblazers Walk is a student-created nature trail on the campus of BTES. My students and I work on the trail throughout the year and then offer guided trail tours towards the end of the year for most of the classes at the school. This year we created a curriculum to go along with the trail.
