Chorus sponsoried the 2008-2009 BTMS Idol Contest under the direction of Ms. Ann Paris, BTMS Chorus teacher. The show was Wednesday evening, Oct. 22nd, in the school's cafeteria. Soloists Austyn Berry (second runner up ), Becca Branning, Jackie Brenes, Latasha Christian, Felicity Furtado ( first runner up) , Jaira Jackson, Haley Mundy, Sabrina Novahatski, Rachel O’Brien , Josh Ore, Faith Paris, Isabella Perkins, Vanessa Pearson (winner) , Maria Sikorsky, Alicia Smith, Linsey Smith, and Paola Velasquez were featured. There were other surprises as well, such as a crazy dance number and group song. Our judges included the fabulous internationally-known jazz vocal artist and clinician from Jacksonville, Lisa Kelly-Scott and Maxine Kronick from Flagler Theater. |
