Flagler Schools Instructional Continuity Plan
Posted on 01/11/2022
Flagler Schools Instructional Continuity PlanThe Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) is committed to ensuring the continuity of instructional and learning support services provided to communities when standard operating procedures are disrupted due to emergency situations. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the FLDOE worked with school districts across the state, including Flagler Schools. They provided supports to develop plans for both the continuation of learning when schools were closed, as well as plans for the safe reopening of schools.

As a result, Flagler Schools has created an Instructional Continuity Plan (ICP) for the 2021–2022 school year. The ICP details the necessary processes and procedures for the continuation of all educational operations during periods of disruption of in-person learning. The plan includes steps to support our students, teachers, schools and community in the following areas:
  • Leadership and Planning
  • Curriculum Resources and Digital Content
  • Professional Learning
  • Instructional Practices
  • Parent and Family Support
  • Technology and Technical Support
  • Cyber Security
  • Engaging Students with Limited Access
  • Continuation of School Operations
  • Emergency and Ongoing Communications

The Flagler Schools ICP can be viewed on the FLDOE website, or you can view the ICP pdf.

Flagler Schools is seeking public input about our ICP for the 2021–2022 school year. If you would like the opportunity to provide feedback, please complete and submit the Flagler Schools ICP Feedback Form by Tuesday, February 15th, 2022.

We appreciate your input as we work together to determine the best way to ensure instructional continuity for Flagler Schools students.
