Virtual Learning Extended
Posted on 03/31/2020
On Monday, March 30, Florida Commissioner of Education Richard Corcoran met with the school superintendents and college/university presidents to go over the state's continued educational response to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in our state.

Commissioner Corcoran advised all districts that we are to continue our virtual education programs through May 1st. This means:
  • All our campuses remain closed to students through May 1st
  • All our campuses remain closed to outside organizations through May 1st
  • All extra-curricular activities are cancelled through May 1st
  • All Flagler Schools meetings will be held virtually through May 1st
  • There has been no determination made on Prom or Graduation yet.

We thank our parents, students, teachers, and administrators for the great attitude they've exhibited as we began our Virtual Learning program. We also appreciate your patience as our district handled sporadic outages of the Schoology application Monday. We have been in contact with the company and they are working to ensure greater ease of use moving forward.

Our Technology team has set up a Technology Support system. They have live support during the day and support requests can also be made around the clock. The Technology Support Hotline is 386-263-0314. You can also submit a support ticket online. Information can be found here.

We've also got information on the web-based applications and programs used by our teachers. That can be found here.

Flagler Schools will continue to update our parents, students, teachers, and staff as we get additional guidance moving foward.
