General Guidelines

  • Preventative Measures
    • Maintain social distancing (6 ft. of space) when feasible.
      • If not feasible, maintain as much space as possible between individuals.
    • Strongly encourage face coverings.
    • Practice frequent hand-washing throughout the day (including before and after meals).
      • Reinforce proper hand washing techniques regularly.
      • Use hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol (for staff and older children who can safely use it) if soap and water are not readily available,
    • Encourage anyone who is sick to stay home.
    • Post common signage promoting daily protective measures (social distancing, face coverings, hand washing, and staying home when sick) in common areas throughout each campus.
    • Place students in similar groupings (i.e. lunch, bus, classroom seating) whenever feasible each day.
    • Face desks in the same direction (rather than facing each other) or seat students on only one side of tables.
    • Suspend all non-essential visitations until further notice.
    • Remove non-essential classroom materials/items in order to help accommodate social distancing.
    • Encourage outdoor activities whenever feasible.
    • Limit the sharing of objects which are difficult to clean.
    • Hold virtual meetings when feasible.

  • Health Screenings
    • Require that students and staff conduct a daily Self Health Screening  prior to coming on campus.
    • Require all visitors deemed essential and student athletes to have an On Campus Health Screening  which includes questions and a temperature check upon arrival or participation in an athletic practice/event .
