Fall 2020 Learning Options

The Department of Education has issued an Emergency Order enabling school districts to submit a plan to the Department of Education to offer an innovative option for the 2020 Fall semester. To meet the needs of all students and families, Flagler Schools will now offer 3 choices for students:
#1: Face-to-face on-campus traditional instruction 5 days a week
#2: Virtual instruction through iFlagler
#3: NEW: Live remote instruction for students to follow their daily class schedule and participate in traditional classes over the Internet while at home

Fall 2020 Learning Options

During the week of July 6th, schools contacted parents to ask which of the first two options, traditional or virtual, their children would be following for the first semester. With a third option now available, schools need to hear from parents who would like to change their choice to this remote learning option. Parents who would like their children to be remote students for the Fall 2020 semester should visit the school website for directions on how to let the school know of this change. Some courses may not be offered remotely. For parents who responded to the school phone call saying that you would like your children to attend iFlagler, the district virtual school, please visit iFlagler.org or call 386-447-1520 for directions on registration. If parents have not communicated their choices by July 20th, students will be enrolled in the traditional learning option.
