Mrs. Kelley Fourth Grade/Belle Terre Elementary School All About Me
I have been teaching in Flagler County Schools for twenty years. I began teaching the first grade at Bunnell Elementary School and worked there for my first eight years. Then I moved to Indian Trails to teach third grade for the next nine years after it opened. Later I transferred to Belle Terre Elementary School and began a new venture in the Fourth Grade. I have a bachelors in Criminal Justice and a bachelors in Elementary Education. I have two daughters that attended the Flagler County Schools for their entire public education . My oldest daughter has graduated from college, married and made me a very proud grandmother and my youngest daughter is finishing her four year degree atFlagler College in St. Augustine, she wants to continue her learning in Jacksonville. Education is extremely important to my entire family, that belief has been instilled in our children as well. My husband has worked in the Flagler School system as a resource officer and has been a sports coach for the high school athletic department. I have personally been in the military and worked several jobs that were not connected to educating children, however I have never enjoyed or learned more from any of my other jobs to the extent that I do when working with children. I assure you, that if you are reading this page because you are a parent of one of my students either now or possibly in the future, I will always do my best to encourage your child to work hard in their formative years in order to secure a bright and prosperous future.
