Welcome to 8th Grade What is Physical Science?Physical science is not the study of sit ups and push ups. Science in general is the process of observation and investigation to understand the world around us. Physical science is the specific study of how matter and energy interact. Advanced ClassesAdvanced and comprehensive Physical Science students will be required to master the same skills and knowledge as both groups will be taking the Science FCAT this year in March encompassing material from grades 6 through 7. Advanced classes will involve more independent learning have higher expectations on student generated products. Advanced classes will require more problem solving and will and delve into a deeper study of the same content.
